Mixed Leaf is our ready-made blend of young, tender salad leaves, picked young for a soft texture and a balanced flavor that runs from mild and sweet to a gentle peppery note. If you'd call it a spring mix or mixed greens, you're in the right place. It's the easy way to get variety in one pack: a base for salads and bowls, or a handful to lift a sandwich or a wrap.

Ready to eat straight from the pack, with no washing and no draining. It's built for salads and grain bowls: add a dressing, some protein and whatever's in the fridge. Pile it into sandwiches, wraps and burgers, or use it as a fresh bed under warm roasted vegetables. It loves a simple lemon and olive oil dressing, plus avocado, feta, toasted seeds or cherry tomatoes.
Your salad lasts because it's clean enough that it never needs washing. Most bagged leaves are washed, often more than once, before they reach the shelf, and the moisture and handling that come with washing are what start leaves wilting and turning slimy. Ours are grown spray-free in a sealed room, so they go into the pack clean, dry and undamaged.

This bag is plastic film, so it doesn't belong in your curbside bin. Empty it, make sure it's clean and dry, and take it to a store drop-off point for plastic film. Keeping film plastics out of curbside recycling matters. They tangle the sorting machinery and can send a whole load to landfill.

We're not just a brand,
we're the grower.
Learn about what were working onBehind every harvest is a team of horticulturalists, plant scientists, engineers and a chef. The farm is almost entirely automated, but automation doesn't decide anything. Our horticulturalists read the crop and set the conditions, and the machines carry them out precisely, every day.
Everyone here is working towards the same thing. Growing it well is the method. Making it worth eating is the point.

Nothing sprayed on.
Nothing to rinse off.
Our greens grow in sealed rooms, which means the pests, weeds and run-off that force outdoor farms to spray simply aren't there. So we don't spray. No pesticides, no herbicides, no fungicides, on anything we grow.
We had it tested rather than just stating it. An independent, ISO 17025 accredited lab screened our greens against 312 pesticides and residues, with none detected.
That's why there's nothing to rinse off. Nothing was ever sprayed on in the first place.

How we grow it
Everything we sell starts as a seed and is grown without being touched by hand, from seed to pack. It grows indoors in a sealed, climate-controlled room, with no soil, no weather and no sunlight. Every plant gets the light, water and nutrients it needs, every single day.
Those same sealed rooms change what growing takes. We recycle around 90% of the water our plants grow in, our nutrients stay in a closed loop instead of running off into rivers, and we grow a year's harvest in a single building.
What comes out is clean, consistent and ready in about half the time a field takes. It's grown at our farms in Australia, and our first US farm is under construction in Menifee, California. Every pack can be traced back to the exact batch it came from.

FAQs
Near enough. Spring mix, mixed greens and salad mix all describe a blend of young salad leaves, and that's what this is. We call ours Mixed Leaf because that's what it is: a mix of leaves, picked young.
A blend of young salad leaves, each one grown indoors with no pesticides or sprays, and picked young for a soft texture and balanced flavor.
No. It's grown in a sealed indoor room and never sprayed, so there's nothing to rinse off. Washing herbs only bruises the fronds and adds the moisture that turns them dark.
Mostly, yes. It's at its best raw, in salads, bowls, sandwiches and wraps. You can wilt the heartier leaves into a hot dish at the last second, but it's built to be eaten fresh.
Any single green works as a swap. Baby spinach for something mild, arugula for a peppery kick, romaine for crunch. You'll just lose the variety the mix gives you in one pack.
